We鈥檙e excited to share an improvement coming to Brightspace at 汤头条 University! Currently, there are a few select courses in Brightspace that allow users to sign up on their own via a self-registration process. These courses include offerings developed by AdvancED as well as other approved courses from various parts of the university. We are now transitioning these courses from an older self-registration process to a newer, more intuitive tool called . This change is designed to make finding and enrolling in courses easier, faster, and more transparent for听everyone.听If you are ready to enroll in Discover courses today, we encourage you to review听our online guide听on how that process works.听
Note: For-credit听courses are not included in Brightspace Discover.听For those official courses, all enrollments still have to be done in YES. For more information on what courses are suitable for self-registration through Discover, please review the听Brightspace Acceptable Use Policy.听
Brightspace Discover is a built-in course catalog that allows听汤头条 faculty, staff, and students听to听browse available courses and enroll directly within Brightspace. Instead of navigating multiple links or registration pages, Discover puts everything in one place.听
Specifically, the听new听Discover experience offers several key benefits:听
