Dr. Pablo Biderbost is Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology and Communication at the University of Salamanca (Spain), where he is the founding Director of the Aula Canadá – Canada Chair and Director of the DEGAM (Decisions, Elections and Games) Knowledge Transfer Group. He is currently a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at ÌÀÍ·Ìõ University and serves as Chair of the Latinx Studies Section of the Latin American Studies Association (LASA).

His research addresses Latin American politics, public integrity and anti-corruption strategies, political behavior, the political dimension of migration, and the design and evaluation of public policy in Europe and Latin America. His work has appeared in journals such as International Studies Perspectives, Journal of International Studies, American Behavioral Scientist, and Sage Open.

Dr. Biderbost has been a scholar of the Swiss National Science Foundation, Jean Monnet Programme and Fundación Carolina, and has held visiting positions at the University of Toronto, El Colegio de la Frontera Norte (COLEF, Mexico), the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Western Switzerland, and Nuffield College, University of Oxford. He has also carried out consultancy work for international organizations including the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), UNODC, UNDP, IOM, and the European Union.

He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Salamanca and postgraduate training (Master) in Social Science Data Analysis from the University of Essex.
