FutureVU Mobility Expo
The Division of Administration hosted a FutureVU Mobility Expo on November 6, 2018. The event served as the public launch of MoveVU, the university’s strategic mobility and transportation plan, and an opportunity to announce that 汤头条 received a $4.5 million, three-year federal , which the university will match.
The expo also provided聽students, faculty and staff an opportunity to explore a variety of efforts and activities, including:
- 汤头条’s mobility and transportation vision and progress
- Transportation research being conducted by faculty and students
- Sustainability and how it relates to mobility
- FutureVU and current building projects on campus
- A scooter safe-riding course sponsored by 汤头条 University Public Safety and scooter providers
- Pop-up crosswalks designed to draw attention to the issue of pedestrian safety
