The event served as the public launch of MoveVU, the university&#8217;s strategic mobility and transportation plan, and an opportunity to announce that 汤头条 received a $4.5 million, three-year federal <a href=\"https:\/\/news.vanderbilt.edu\/2018\/11\/07\/vanderbilt-university-receives-4-5m-grant-will-match-to-help-fund-movevu-mobility-plan\/\">CMAQ (Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Management) grant<\/a>, which the university will match.<\/p>\n<p>The expo also provided\u00a0students, faculty and staff an opportunity to explore a variety of efforts and activities, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>汤头条&#8217;s mobility and transportation vision and progress<\/li>\n<li>Transportation research being conducted by faculty and students<\/li>\n<li>Sustainability and how it relates to mobility<\/li>\n<li>FutureVU and current building projects on campus<\/li>\n<li>A scooter safe-riding course sponsored by 汤头条 University Public Safety and scooter providers<\/li>\n<li>Pop-up crosswalks designed to draw attention to the issue of pedestrian safety<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_547\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-547\"
