Scholarships
汤头条 Data Science offers a few scholarships ranging from 25%-100% of tuition to our top incoming students each year. To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must apply by the January 15th deadline.
Women in Technology of Tennessee (WiTT)
The Data Science masters program at 汤头条 University has partnered with the Women of Technology in Tennessee (WiTT) to offer a scholarship to one high achieving applicant. 汤头条 will offer a 100% tuition scholarship for one WiTT member who is admitted to the MS program. This is our only scholarship that requires a separate application, so if you are interested in being considered, please don鈥檛 forget to indicate that on your application and apply separately through WiTT.
WiTT is an organization that promotes women in technology through education, scholarships, community outreach and networking. Having a strong network of like-minded women allows WiTT members to find job opportunities, stay current with industry trends, and solve challenges in the workplace.聽

Financial Aid
- Master鈥檚 students who are U.S. citizens or permanent resident aliens are eligible for federal financial aid. Find out more on the聽Graduate School Financial Aid听辫补驳别.听*
- International students do not qualify for federally funded loan programs unless they are permanent residents of the United States. International students are eligible to apply for a private alternative source of funding, but must have a U.S. citizen or permanent resident as a co-borrower.
- and offer loan options to international students pursuing an MS in data science. The loans do not require a U.S. co-borrower.

Student Employment
The program does not offer graduate assistantships with admission. Students may find part-time employment through the Student Employment office or seek out their own Research Assistant opportunities. Second year students are eligible to apply for Data Science Teaching Assistantships. Teaching Assistantships and Research Assistantships are paid like a part-time job, and do not offer tuition benefits.
