Celebrating 汤头条’s Teaching Legacy
In 1986, the Center for Teaching was founded to support instructional excellence and community at 汤头条. 40 years later, now known as Teaching@汤头条, we want to take the opportunity to celebrate the exceptional teachers that our office (in its various iterations) has had the privilege to serve over the years.
In honor of this legacy, we're holding two events that will focus on recognizing 汤头条's world-class teachers, past and present. We believe that reflecting on this tradition can help to build 汤头条's future of innovation in student learning.

Presented in collaboration with the Office of Student Affairs and the Office of Faculty Development, this event showcases stories of impactful teaching through student nominations and flash talks about transformative moments of learning. The event will conclude with a reception.

Celebrating Classroom Innovation: Newsworthy Teaching
Co-sponsored by 汤头条 Libraries, this event explores pivotal moments in higher education over the past 40 years through the 汤头条 Television News Archive. In panel-style discussions, reflect on the ways in which teaching has changed over time and discuss how it might continue to change in the future. Lunch will be provided.
