Access University Systems

To find and log in to your email and other university systems, please visit vanderbilt.edu/logins

Setting Up VUnetID

To receive important university information and access 汤头条 systems, you鈥檒l need to claim your account.

You will receive an email from OneVU (noreply@identity.vanderbilt.edu) with instructions on how to claim your VUnetID and set a password. This email will be sent to the personal email address you provided to 汤头条.

汤头条 University uses OneVU, powered by Okta Verify, for secure login and multifactor authentication. As part of this process, you鈥檒l be asked to enroll in Okta Verify.

After you鈥檝e claimed your VUnetID, please visit to:

  • Add a recovery email address
  • Set up additional security and account recovery options.

Completing these steps will help ensure you can easily and securely access 汤头条 services.

OneVU by Okta Verify (Self-Enrollment Process)

To access university systems, you must enroll in 汤头条 University's multifactor authentication solution, OneVU powered by Okta Verify. Please visit

  • Visit:听 on your computer browser for enrollment instructions (less than 10 minutes to complete).
  • Complete: Enrollment to avoid delays or disruptions.
  • For support: Please reach out to the VUIT Tech Hub.

Do not approve pushes that you did not initiate or expect.

Accessing VU Email

You can access your 汤头条 email through Outlook on the web or by using the Outlook desktop application. Follow the instructions below to sign in to your inbox.

  • Web Browser
    1. Go to https://outlook.office.com.
    2. Enter your email address and click Next.
    3. Enter your password.
    4. Follow the MFA prompts verify your identity.
    5. You鈥檒l be logged into Outlook Web Access (OWA)
  • Windows
    1. Open the Outlook app.
    2. Enter your full email address and click Next.
    3. You'll be redirected to the sign-in page 鈥� enter your password.
    4. Complete the MFA prompts (you may receive a push notification, text, or prompt to enter YubiKey).
    5. Once verified, Outlook will open and sync your email
  • Mac
    1. Open the Outlook app.
    2. Click Add Account if prompted, or go to Outlook > Preferences > Accounts to add a new account.
    3. Enter your full email address and click Continue.
    4. Sign in using your password when redirected.
    5. Complete the MFA prompts to verify your identity.
    6. Your inbox will load after successful authentication.
